This Interview about the Blood Moons took place a few years ago at Maranatha Chapel. My Pastor Ray Bentley had Mark Biltz as a guest and he talked about the Blood Moons that are coming up in 2014/15. I will let the video speak for itself, but the upcoming Blood Moons that fall on the Feast days of the Lord, will be the last ones for a hundred years.
As you will hear in the video, every-time these moons fell on the Feast Days, something big happened.
This 14/15 occurrence will be the eighth time since Jesus. The number eight also stands for new beginnings.
I’m not making any predictions, but given the history of these blood moons, something may happen this year and in 2015. What exactly? Maybe a possible war in the Middle East? A two state solution between Israel and Palestine, which may lead to war? Some believe that the rapture may happen. To be honest, I don’t know and I do not want to go into date setting as many have in the past and were proven wrong.
I find it interesting however, that in a time like this, we have the last Blood Moons that fall on the Feast Days in my life time. We may be the generation that will see the return of the Lord.
This book encompasses it all, his personal journey of faith, the deep friendships that have been formed because of his love for biblical prophecies and his love for the people of Israel, Palestine, the Middle East, Africa and beyond.
Pastor Ray shares with the reader a unique insight into ancient prophecies, which includes the biblical meaning of the Signs in the Heavens i.e the Mazzaroth (Zodiac), the Riddle of the Sphinx, the Seven Feast-days of the Lord, the Seventy Weeks of Daniel and the significance of the Blood Moons in history and the upcoming once for 2014/15.
Besides the signs in the heavens and prophecies, Pastor Ray also touches on church history and the importance for the church to remember it’s Jewish roots, after all Jesus (Yeshua) was Jewish and the church originated in Jerusalem on Pentecost. Many prophecies have a double or even multiple fulfillment’s and they are pictures of what God did in the past and is going to do in the very near future. The Feast – Days e.g were dress rehearsals.
Pastor Ray challenges the reader not to only study prophecy, but to live it. He is asking us to step into the story.
I highly recommend this book for those who like to go deeper in God’s word. Pastor Ray Bentley invites us all to fall in love with God’s word, to study it and share it with others.
We are truly living in biblical times and now is the time for the church to wake up and look up. This book I hope, will encourage the reader to study the Holy Scriptures and learn about the true meaning of the Feast Days and prophecy in general as they speak to us today. The map above reveals how surrounded Israel is by its sworn enemies.
Israel is the key piece in the prophetic puzzle. War has surrounded and pursued them since their reemergence as a nation-state back in 1948.
They were attacked in that first year when the nations of the world helped to fulfill Bible prophecy and helped to seemingly bring the nation back to life again after nearly 2000 years of being scattered across many nations. It was an amazing feat all on its own, the fact that the Jewish people remained a distinct people and didn’t just merge with the people groups among whom they lived for all of those years.
It was also amazing that the hatred of the Jewish people remained so strong toward this small and outcast people. Such a small amount of people and yet so hated by so many people. Why such strong hatred for Jews? It’s spiritual in…

A short excerpt from the interview with Pastor Ray Bentley and Joel Rosenberg from January 2013. Joel talks about the great commission and the importance of a one on one discipleship between a mature older believer and a younger believer. as mentor. Just as Paul was a mentor to young Timothy, who became a mentor to others.
Joel just released a new book, The Invested Life, addressing this very issue of discipleship and mentoring.
Every follower of Jesus Christ should be able to answer two simple questions:
• Who is investing in me? • Who am I investing in?
