“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer 29:11.
Meditate on these wonderful words of the Lord. The world lives in fear of the future. People are weight down with heaviness. Don’t let the world beat you down with it’s anxieties and fears. Be blessed not stressed. The world will be struck with complexities, no way out and no hope. The Lord watches out for His children. He will comfort us and cover us with His perfect love and peace. If He is for us, who can be against us? He loves His children and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Rest in His finished work. Find the peace that only the Lord can give you.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phl 4:6,7.
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–meditate on these things.” Phl 4:8.
God bless you and Happy New Year.

Freddy,
Hope is one of the three theological virtues of Christianity – along with faith and charity. They are three simple words that can change lives. We Christians can rely on grace in our hope for salvation at the end of our lives and for the hope that by our example, we can lead others to this hope.
Thank you for sharing your view on it for 2012 and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! I’ll pray for your intentions.
