He suggested that the Republican Party will do anything for Obama to fail.
To make matters even worse, he started bringing out the “Race” card.
In his own words: “It has been obvious that they’re doing everything they can to make him fail. And I hope, I hope – and I say this seriously – I hope that’s based on substance and not the fact that he’s African-American” ~ Harry Reid.
Wow, how low can one go? That is an outrageous statement to make. Shame on you Harry Reid and on those who support that kind of view.
People are calling him out and want him to apologize. I believe, that he should.
Leaving politics aside for moment, here is one question I would ask Senator Harry Reid:
And why is it that they were treated as second-class citizens by the Mormon church and it’s followers?
For those who may not know, Harry Reid is of the Mormon faith and given the history of the LDS, one has to question the motive behind his accusations.
Why is the media not bringing this up?
Harry Reid has said many dumb things in the past and this is nothing new coming from him.
But this statement is simply over the top. Harry Reid is a practicing Mormon, who believes in his church’s covenant and doctrines.
With his background of Mormonism, a church who treated African-Americans as second-class citizens, he should really think twice before making statements like that, painting Republicans and Conservatives as “Racist”
There is only one “Race” and that is the human race. Shame on Harry Reid to play the “race” card to divert people from the real issues, the Benghazi cover up, the mounting scandals such as the IRS, NSA and many other countless problems that are mounting, which can be directly related to the failure of the Obama administration. Instead of coming together, people like Reid are causing us to be divided more and more each and every day. These tactics are deplorable to say the least. Shame on you Harry Reid. You owe the American people, especially the African-American Community an apology.
